They are best used grilled, gratinated or stuffed and baked in the oven, or sliced for the preparation of appetizers, side dishes and condiments.

Cook before eating. Thawing unnecessary. Quickly rinse the frozen porcini under running water, let them drain and use them in your recipes as you would with fresh mushrooms.

In a frying pan: brown two cloves of garlic in a little olive oil, pour in the chopped porcini and cook over a high flame for 10-15 minutes or according to cooking preference, adding salt and pepper. Season to taste with chopped parsley or herbs of your choice to bring out full flavor.
