The wild porcini mushrooms or King Bolete is renowned all over the world for its rich and earthy flavour. It grows naturally in the hills during Spring through Autumn seasons.
Asiago Food’s organic porcini mushrooms, a precious ingredient to your culinary creations, are selected with knowledge on-site by expert mycologists. They are cleaned, graded, sliced and IQF frozen to preserve the original aroma and taste.

Porcini mushrooms* (Boletus edulis and the relative group aereus, pinicola, reticulatus).
Cook before eating.
Thawing unnecessary. Quickly rinse the frozen mushrooms and cook them using your own recipe as you would for fresh mushrooms.
In the frying pan: put the frozen mushrooms in the frying pan with a knob of butter and a little oil. Cook at moderate heat for 15 minutes or as required. Salt and pepper to taste. Add garlic and chopped parsley to bring out full flavor.
