Dried porcini mushrooms Special Quality – doypack
Porcini mushrooms carefully collected at the source by our expert mycologists. They are washed, sliced, and dried, and then packaged by hand. Perfect for flavoring risotto dishes, sauces and condiments, savory meat dishes, and elegant vegetable sides.
Special Quality porcini mushrooms are dried in the sun to preserve their scent and flavor, and then are hand selected and packaged: only cap and stem sections that are a creamy hazel color.
Boletus edulis and the relative group (aereus, pinicola, reticulatus).
PRODUCT MUST BE REHYDRATED AND COOKED BEFORE EATING.
Rinse the mushrooms gently in cool water, and then soak them in warm water for 20 minutes before using. Once they have softened they are ready to be used in your recipes. For the best yield from your mushrooms, we recommend keeping the water, carefully filtered through cheesecloth or a strainer, and adding it back during cooking.
Before being dried, the mushrooms are carefully cleaned: however, they may contain traces of dirt or other contaminants that the user will make sure to remove before cooking.

To store correctly, keep in a cool, dry place. Once the package is open, store your mushrooms using the special fresh-saver closure, or place them in a hermetically sealed container. For longer periods of time, store the mushrooms in the freezer.
The product will maintain its best qualities if consumed by the date shown on the package. Avoid humidity and direct sunlight.
