Mixed mushrooms 7 oz – 1.65 lb (200-750 g) - Bosco Reale
An aromatic mix of premium mushrooms, carefully selected, cleaned and sliced for easy cooking. Ideal over polenta with cheese flakes.
Mushrooms in varying proportions: champignon (Agaricus bisporus), oyster (Pleurotus ostreatus), shiitake (Lentinula edodes), slippery jack (Suillus luteus), nameko (Pholiota nameko).
Cook before eating.
Thawing unnecessary. Quickly rinse the frozen mushrooms and cook them using your own recipe as you would for fresh mushrooms.
In the frying pan: put the frozen mushrooms in the frying pan with a drizzle of oil and a knob of butter. Cook over medium heat for approx. 20 minutes or according to cooking preference. Add chopped parsley, salt and pepper to bring out full flavour.
Use as a base for risotto and pasta dishes or as a gourmet side dish to main course.
